Kindle Fire 6.2.2 Update Brings Full Screen Browsing, But Locks Root Acccess

Amazon has today rolled out a new update for its Kindle Fire Android tablet. The new Kindle Fire 6.2.2 update is very small and brings with it a new button which allows users to enable full-screen browsing on Amazon’s Silk web browser.

In the same vein as previous updates from Amazon the new software version 6.2.2, also removes root access to the device. Amazon is rolling out the new update over-the-air so most Kindle Fire devices will automatically download and install the update.
